Tony Phiskie

Tony is experienced in working with people from various backgrounds and circumstances.

These include people with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression and mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well as people struggling with drug and alcohol use, and relationship difficulties. He has over 30 years’ experience in working with victims/survivors of trauma and has worked extensively with adult survivors of historic child emotional, physical and sexual assault and adult victims of recent sexual assault. He is very aware of how the issues mentioned above can impact on relationships with others and our relationship with ourselves.

Tony also has considerable experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Theo Simos

Theo is a Psychologist with over over 5 years of experience working with people to help them achieve long-term change by tailoring treatment approaches to meet their individual needs. Theo works with teens and adults, he has a special interest in trauma and anxiety with a lens to look for deeper meaning to find the origin of the presenting issue and explore pathways to healing from the foundation upwards.

Treatment is structured, with practical exercises being given that can be used and felt from the first session. Theo has extensive knowledge in trauma and anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and all facets of addiction.

Fiona Green

Fiona is a registered clinical psychologist with over twenty years experience in the assessment and treatment of adult related mental health issues. She uses evidence based practice to develop interventions and cognitive behavioural therapy that are effective and solution focused.

Fiona specialises in a range of areas including the treatment of more common mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, grief, adjustment to illness and chronic pain, substance abuse, work related stress, family and relationship difficulties. She also works with those with more severe forms for mental illness such as Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD and other more chronic mental health conditions.

Gilda Ogawa

I am a registered psychologist with wide experience across a range of clientele presenting with issues relating to childhood trauma, anxiety depression, complex trauma, PTSD and lifestage issues.

I use a range of evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and in-depth mindfulness and meditation. I have studied and practiced mindfulness based programs and meditation extensively over the last 25 years and have found my approach to be accessible to people regardless of age and culture.

Vivien Suttner​

Vivien Suttner is a registered psychologist and full member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. Vivien is a board registered provisional psychologist supervisor. Vivien has 17 years’ experience as a psychologist and prior to that worked as a crisis counsellor.

She has a broad range of expertise having undertaken specialised training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical and Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Vivien uses a trauma informed approach to counselling and has a keen interest in narrative therapy. Vivien has a compassionate, friendly, strength based way of working collaboratively with individuals and families. Vivien works with children, adolescents and adults. She has enjoyed co-facilitating groups on post-natal depression and anxiety management.

Vivien has considerable expertise in psychological assessment, especially for children with low academic achievement, specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Comprehensive psychological and educational reports and feedback are provided. She has contributed to ongoing professional development for organisations such as Specific Learning Disabilities Association of NSW.

Vanessa Allen​

Vanessa is a highly qualified and gifted counsellor, working with a range of conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief and loss. Vanessa is experienced working with children 5 – 12 years, adolescents and adults and has a particular interest in trauma.

Vanessa uses an integrated approach to counselling using a number of evidence based techniques individually tailored for each client. Vanessa is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with post graduate qualifications in counselling, psychology and trauma. She is registered and accredited with the relevant professional bodies.
